"Battery Innovation 2021" - current realities and prospects for the industry development
March 18, 2021 JSC AKOM named after N. M. Ignatiev and LLC Accumulator of Innovations held an international scientific and technical conference "Battery Innovation 2021". The initiator of the creation of a single consolidated platform for making solutions for the development of the battery industry − the President of the Group of Companies AKOM Nikolai Ignatiev. This year the initiator is his wife Lilia Ignatieva. The event was held in two languages (Russian and English) in a new format for the company and in demand in the context of globalization and digitalization.
This year, the conference was held for the third time on the territory of the Technopark Zhigulevskaya Valley, where was an online broadcast and gathered more than 100 participants, including Russian and foreign experts (14 countries, 4 continents), representatives of chemical power sources manufacturers, manufacturers and equipment suppliers, components suppliers, consumer companies, research institutes, educational institutions, professional industry associations, The Association of European manufacturers of automotive and Industrial batteries EUROBAT and the International Association INTERBAT.
During the conference, the participants discussed the chemical power source industry, innovative solutions in this area, battery products marketing, as well as prospects for development in the field of batteries for the next decade. There was an opportunity to conduct virtual B2B negotiations.
The conference was supported by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Samara region, the Machine-building Association Cluster of Automotive Industry, the Association Union of Employers of the Samara Region and others.
The Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Samara region Oleg Volkov noted that quite a large number of conference participants indicated the relevance of the issues raised by the organizers. He mentioned that the forum program included issues related to the current state and trends of the battery market in Russia and the world.
The General director of the Machine-building Association Cluster of Automotive Industry Andrey Kraynov concluded that the main goal of any manufacturer was not only to meet the requirements of modern reality and global trends, but also to develop its technological potential by applying new innovative solutions, ensuring the competitive advantage of its products and the sustainable development of its company. One of such enterprises in Russia is JSC AKOM named after N. M. Ignatiev, the leader in the starter batteries production.
As a result of the conference, there was reached an agreement on the final document adoption "Resolutions and Decisions", which provides for the coordination of the participants actions both in the scientific and technical sphere and in relation to legislative initiatives.
