The government will allocate 5 billion rubles to support national industry

The Russian Export Center (REC) will receive additional support as part of the transport subsidy for exporters (Governmental Decree of the Russian Federation N 496 «State support for Russian civil industry organizations in order to reduce the cost of transportation of products»).

 

October 22, Moscow. The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin had a meeting dedicated to budget allocations, as well as Arctic zone development discussion. In addition, the Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov attended the meeting.

 

During the meeting, Mikhail Mishustin told about his business trip to Murmansk. On October 21, there was the acceptance ceremony of the new nuclear icebreaker. The lead universal nuclear icebreaker "Arktika" was built by JSC "Baltic plant" on request of the state Corporation «Rosatom».

 

The icebreaker is designed for independent pilotage of ships, including large-capacity ones and for leading the fleet in the Western Arctic region. 

 

The head of Government noted that, the innovative technologies and science have allowed Russia to create the world's only nuclear fleet and ensure its strategic leadership.

 

During the meeting, there were also discussed measures to support Russian manufacturers, and it was decided to allocate additional funds for the lnational industry development.

 

Mikhail Mishustin annonced that 5 billion rubles will be allocated to compensate for transportation costs of products of Russian enterprises. It’s expected that this subsidy will ensure the production and supply of competitive goods to customers in the amount of at least 45 billion rubles.
