SUPPLIER DAY ATSUMITEC TOYOTA TSUSHO RUS
December 2, 2021, Atsumitec Toyota Tsusho Rus (ATTR) Supplier Day was held in a video conference format. The event was organized by Cluster of Automotive Industry, Alliance Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, and ATTR.
Due to the coronavirus disease COVID-19, there was no opportunity to organize offline TIER-2 Supplier Day. Thus, Cluster, Alliance Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, and ATTR decided to hold a separate event in the online format.
ATTR is a joint venture of TOYOTA TSUSHO CORPORATION and ATSUMITEC Co., Ltd. The main founder – ATSUMITEC Co., Ltd. is one of the world's leading suppliers of gear selection mechanisms for mechanical and automatic transmissions. The second founder – TOYOTA TSUSHO CORPORATION (a trading company within Toyota Group) carries out activities in 7 areas, including the automotive industry. The company is a resident of the Togliatti Special Economic Zone.
13 suppliers representing both the automotive component sector and related industries participated in the event. In total, 17 employees of enterprises took part in the Atsumitec Supplier Day.
The general part of the event included a welcome speech from the head of the Cluster international projects department Dmitry Moiseenko, ATTR presentation and its localization plans in Russia, online B2B negotiations. Negotiations with potential suppliers were conducted by ATTR representatives - sales manager Sergey Plastamakin, manager of the engineering section Alexei Kobzar, head of the quality service Sergey Sidorov. In general, there were held 13 online business meetings.
The online ATTR Supplier Day became an effective business platform for dialogue between Russian suppliers and ATTR procurement team.
