There was mentioned further development of the Automotive Industry Competence Center. We have extensive experience in supporting local supplier’s development, which must be used in the regions and at the federal level. Cluster's competencies for the development of automotive component manufacturers should also be used in supplier projects with Volkswagen, Hyundai-KIA, Stellantis, and KAMAZ. In the future, it is planned to discuss this topic with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

It is important to sign an agreement between the Cluster and the Ministry of Industry and Trade on long-term cooperation and information interaction in order to develop the automotive components industry and localize the automotive industry. For example, a similar agreement has already been concluded by the Ministry with the Consortium of Automotive Electronic Devices and Telematics.

It is appropriate to work out potential projects with suppliers that can be implemented with the help of the new tool of state support for automotive components manufacturers ("grants for automotive components").

Since 2020, the Cluster has been actively formulating and submitting for discussion proposals for adjusting and updating Decree No.719 in order to improve efficiency of state incentive measures to increase the localization level of production of cars and automotive components. The Сluster and its members need to continue this work in the future, paying attention to the proposals related to automotive electronics.

Also, there were discussed issues related to new tools for supporting projects of automotive components localization, measures of state support for the automotive industry, innovative projects, interaction with federal and regional authorities, proposals to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the role of the Cluster in projects of automotive industry localization and the development of local suppliers’ competencies.

After considering all the issues on the meeting agenda and exchanging views on the further Cluster development, solving industry issues, there was a delivery of certificates to the Cluster members.
