Cluster business visit to the Nizhny Novgorod region

June 8-10, the management of the Cluster of Automotive Industry made a visit to the Cluster members and partners located in the Nizhny Novgorod region. There were held negotiation with representatives of the authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region, also discussed projects for components localization..

Today, there are 8 members from the Nizhny Novgorod Region in the Cluster, as well as 31 partners.

During the business trip, the General director Andrey Kraynov and the Head of international projects department Dmitry Moiseenko visited 20 companies (Rikor Electronics, DELFINGEN RU - Volga, AVTOTECHNIKA, Sosnovskagropromtekhnika, SPRINGS ALIANS, LitPromGarant-NN, Collini, A.Raymond RUS, LEAR NN, BULTEN RUS, Access Mechanism, DAIDO METAL RUSSIA, Flaig+Hommel, Branorus, Boryszew Plastic Rus, AL-company, Alteroll, SELESTA, Nizhegorodskiy liteyniy zavod, VELAM-RUS). Current and new state support measures for the automotive industry were discussed, such as components localization under Government Decree No. 719, support for R&D under Government Decree No. 1649, export subsidies for transportation via the Russian export center, a new tool of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia for the development of automotive components production "grants for automotive components" and other available support mechanisms.

Also, the results of participating in "Supplier Days" and the status of consumer requests received from the Cluster were under discussion.

The Cluster Training center competencies were presented. Enterprises’ employees have the opportunity to be taught on specialized advanced training courses that are necessary to meet the requirements of customers from the automotive industry.

In addition to the visits to enterprises, the Cluster management held negotiations with representatives of the authorities and development institutions of the Nizhny Novgorod Region: the Head of the Department of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Valery Yurasov, the Head of the Strategic Development Department of the Ministry of Industry Sergey Grachev, Director of the Agency for the Development of Cluster Policy and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Denis Rumyantsev, Director for Development of the Center for Business Support of the Nizhny Novgorod region Lev Biryukov, Chief specialist of the Department of Entrepreneurship Development of the Center for Entrepreneurship Support of the Nizhny Novgorod region Irina Oleynichenko.

The parties agreed to work together with the enterprises of the Nizhny Novgorod region to develop proposals for the Government Decree No. 719 regarding the products of local automotive components manufacturers. The Cluster is willing to provide methodological support, taking into account the experience of interaction with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and NAMI.
