A new plant for the automotive components production will be opened in the SEZ "Togliatti"

On May 28, at the meeting of the Expert Council of the SEZ "Togliatti" there was approved the application of the new resident, the factory for painting and assembling a wide range of automotive components. It is planned to invest 1.2 billion rubles in the project and create about 140 workplaces.

This year, on May 18, the Governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov announced three-year results of the implementation of the Strategy of Advanced Development of the Samara region – the Leadership Strategy. An important direction of the strategy is to increase the investment appeal of the region and improve the life quality. Dmitry Azarov noted that investment platforms play a special role in capital attraction to the region, such platforms provide conditions for business development and the creation of new industries.

SEZ "Togliatti" is a convenient location not only by its tax privileges, but also by the proximity to AvtoVAZ. Some companies from Germany, France, Spain, Turkey, the Netherlands, Japan and Russia implement projects here. Enterprises supply products not only within the country, but also actively develop international markets which corresponds to the objectives of the national project "International Cooperation and Export", said the Minister of Economic Development and Investment of the Samara region Dmitry Bogdanov.

The new investor will strengthen the existing cluster of the SEZ for the components production for automotive enterprises.Today, five residents of the special economic zone are working in this direction: Nobel Automotive Rusya LLC (fuel lines, windscreen washers, flexible cables, seat frames), Cie Automotive Rus LLC (aluminum parts for engines), Atsumitec Toyota Tsusho Rus LLC (switches for gearboxes), Hi-Lex Rus LLC (control cables for gearboxes, parking brake, trunk opening) and Edscha Togliatti LLC (door hinges, trunks, door limiters).

This year, the first production stage of the Faurecia Automotive Solutions LLC (subsidiary of the French Faurecia) will be launched at the investment site.
